Outlook Express Setup Instructions

When you run Outlook Express for the first time, it will ask you to set up a new e-mail account.

If it does not, then add a new account instead.

Enter your E-mail address. Your e-mail address is normally the username you
chose when you set-up your email account, followed by the @ symbol and your
domain name. (example info@abccorp.com)

Click on the "Next" button to continue...

Next, decide whether you want to handle your incoming e-mail via POP or
IMAP, and select the appropriate Server Type.

Enter the incoming Mail Server, "email.esultants.com" and the outgoing Mail
Server, "email.esultants.com"

Click the next button to continue...

Enter your e-mail address again as your Account Name (make sure it is the complete Email address), and enter the password you chose (or were given) when you set up your account. It must be entered exactly, uppercase and lowercase letters are different.

Check the box next to "Remember password" if you want Outlook Express to remember your account password for you.

The box next to "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" should NOT be checked.

Click on the "Next" button to continue...

Finally, click on the "Finish" button to finish setting up your e-mail account. Outlook Express should now try to download or access any e-mail messages you have waiting on the Esultants mail server.

Next, pull down the "Tools" menu, then select "Accounts".

Select your e-mail account in the Accounts list, and click on the "Properties" button to the right.
