Vision and Mission

The Vision of Esultants Web Services is to be a recognized leader in the website industry. From experience, we know that our customers can only see results by creating an effective mix of web site design, function, and promotion. Combining these core elements with affordability, customer service, and continuing innovation sets us apart from our competition.

Our Process

At Esultants Web Services, we pride ourselves on making our process of building a website easy for our customers. As with any marketing effort, our clients' success is based upon the amount of input they have in the product we produce. Therefore, we encourage our customers to provide us with as much input and feedback as is possible, without interrupting their daily work flow. After all, our customers have their own businesses to run.

Our process can be broken down into 5 phases: Consultation, Preparation, Conception, Architecture, and Implementation. The length and scope of these phases usually varies by customer, but the general focus of each phase remains constant for all of our customers.

Phase 1: Consultation

All of our customers are given a free consultation to determine their needs. For our local customers, we typically meet in person, however we can also do the initial consultation over the phone. During the consultation phase we discuss the needs and goals of the project, begin to define the scope of the project, discuss deadlines or obstacles to overcome in the process of completing the project and the costs associated with the project. At the completion of the consultation phase, we typically generate a proposal to address the needs we have discovered, and provide several options for how to proceed.

Phase 2: Preparation

Once our proposal has been accepted, we begin the preparation phase. This phase tends to be the most important part of our process, as it sets the tone for the project's fulfillment. During the preparation phase, our customers work directly with our project coordinator to compile, organize, and format all of the data required to complete the website. This process tends to be very thorough and requires the most participation by our customers, as they are the experts of their respective businesses. It is imperative during this phase of the project that we attempt to gather all of the necessary information for the project, as it is very difficult to change the direction of the project once we have started.

Phase 3: Conception

The Conception phase is where our customers get the first glimpse of what their website will look like. It is during this phase that the bulk of our creativity and design expertise shines. During the conception phase our design team will create one to three screen shots of the overall look and feel of our customer's website. This phase is designed to give our customers an idea of the direction we are taking with their website, as well as to get their feedback on the design, layout and navigation of the website.

Phase 4: Architecture

Once a customer has approved the concept for their website, we begin the site architecture. During this phase, we take the concept we have created and turn it into a fully functional website. For our more static projects, this entails coding the site for functionality and adding the text and picture content for the various sections of the site. For our more dynamic projects, this phase is when we will design a database to drive the dynamic functionality, as well as create the code that will make the dynamic features work.

Phase 5: Implementation

When we have completed the website project, we begin the final stage of our process. During the Implementation phase, we first work with the client to thoroughly proofread the site for any errors, omissions, or possible bugs in the system prior to launch. For our more dynamic projects, this could also include a walk through of the administrative backend we have created for our customer to manage their website. Once we are sure that the website is ready to be launched, we set-up all of the website files on the customers registered domain name, and perform an initial submission to the major search engines.

In addition to these five steps of our process, we continue to maintain the website once it has been launched. For our customers that choose to have us host their website, we provide various maintenance options depending on the customers' specific needs. We feel that ongoing maintenance is part of creating a successful website presence and urge all of our customers to participate in one of our ongoing maintenance options.
